What is DNS Error?

DNS error occurs when the PlayStation3 disconnect you from the network. Wireless router is mainly why the error occurs although there are many other factors that can cause the problem.

The types of DNS Error you get is presented by the numbers and letters you see on the error pop up box. This should be a very minor problem and should be able to be fixed at home.

Here are two easy steps that you can try,

PS3 DNS Error Tip 1

Turn off your modem for at least 2 minutes. Check all the firmware updates.  Update to the latest firmware. Also make sure UPnP is turned off.

If problem still persist, then try the second procedure.

PS3 DNS Error Tip 2

Check your router and look up your Dns Ip Address. Have the IP address copied down. Now go to your PlayStation 3 network setting. Apply the IP address that you have copied down earlier into the PlayStation 3 settings.

This should help you fix the problem.
